With this upgrade, we’re introducing several new features designed to further reduce the complexity and effort involved in scanning physical records and sorting and splitting aircraft technical records (DFPs).

What’s New?

✅ Automatic Document Splitting by Barcode

Uploading large PDFs from AMOS (e.g. work packages, work orders, task cards)? LISA now automatically detects and splits them into individual documents — drastically reducing manual prep work.

Each uploaded PDF is organized into a dedicated folder named after the original file (e.g. WP-12345 MSN XXXX) and includes:

• 1x PDF for the Work Package Summary Sheet

• 1x PDF for each Work Order

• 1x PDF for each Task Card

⚠️ Only works when OCR is enabled.

🔄 OCR On/Off Option for Uploads

You now have the flexibility to enable or disable OCR during document upload. This is perfect for:

• Faster upload of already OCR’d files

• Uploading historical records with lower processing priority

When OCR is disabled, LISA will reflect this in the document status:

• Data Extraction: Disabled

• DTR: Disabled by OCR

• Auto Labeling: Disabled by OCR

• Time savings: Significantly reduces manual sorting and scanning time

• Transparency: Clearer record organization in Archive & Delivery Binder

• Automatic labeling of barcode-separated WPs, WOs, and TCs in Delivery Binder
